Aki Kaurismäki and Mika Lätti's atmospheric Kino Laika is a stone's throw from the Tehtaan Hotelli in the old Ala-Emali factory building. Tehtaan Hotelli and Kino Laika invites all film lovers to spend a weekend in Karkkila, in the historic Högfors Foundry.

How does the package work?

It can only be booked directly with the Factory Hotel by email tehtaanhotelli@gmail.com or by phone 050 472 6076.

Reservations for the restaurant are made when booking the hotel. Club restaurant opening hours and menus can be found here.

The package includes a three-course Viilar's Day Off menu. It is also available in vegetarian and vegan versions.

Breakfast is delivered in a room-specific breakfast box to the property, where you can also make your own coffee, tea, porridge, etc. Breakfast can be enjoyed in your room, in the hotel lounge or even in the park surrounding the hotel. When making your reservation, please indicate any special dietary requirements and the kitchen of the Factory Hotel will take them into account when preparing your breakfast.

Film buffs can book their tickets for the screening of their choice directly on Kino Laika's website. When you arrive at the Tehtaan Hotel, you will receive a Laika voucher, against which wine glasses and tickets will be redeemed on the way to the screening.
