Collection and processing of personal data

The Factory Hotel collects and processes your personal data only as permitted by law. The collection and processing may occur when you use the services we provide, for example when you make a room reservation, or book one of our meeting, banquet or programme services. We collect personal data in various ways, such as through booking and quote request forms, registration or customer surveys, cookies or newsletters. For example, we need various types of booking and registration information to provide accurate, timely and quality services.
Where the law requires the consent of the data subject for specific processing of personal data, we will ask you for such consent before we start processing.

Data content of the register

We only collect personal information that is necessary for each service we provide. For example, we may collect the following information from you: name, date of birth, gender, telephone number, email address, address details. In addition, we may collect information to facilitate your use of the Services, such as reservation requests, payments, purpose of travel, employment status, food allergies and preferences, physical disabilities, and other information you provide when using the Services.

The Factory Hotel collects personal data for the purpose of storing and managing customer data, providing and delivering services, information, billing and marketing services.

The Factory Hotel uses personal data for the following purposes:

analysing and improving the service experience

to process enquiries, reservations and orders for services.

to communicate with you, for example by email, telephone or text message, to inform you of the status of your enquiry/reservation or information relating to your reservation/service before your arrival, during your stay at the hotel and after your departure.

to enable billing based on the use and reservation of services

Retention and disclosure of personal data

The Factory Hotel stores personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. We use partners and therefore personal data may be transferred to these partners. These partners process your personal data only on behalf of the Factory Hotel and in accordance with our instructions.
The personal data we collect will only be disclosed on the order of a public authority. Customer data will not be disclosed outside the European Economic Area.

Protection and deletion of personal data

The register is in electronic format. We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, destruction or other unlawful processing. Your information is protected by, among other things, firewalls, encryption techniques, the use of secure equipment and appropriate access control.
Access to the register is limited to those persons employed by the controller and other specified persons who need the data for their tasks. They have access to user IDs and passwords and have been instructed on how to process personal data.
The Factory Hotel will delete the personal data in accordance with the applicable law.

Other apps or websites

The Services may contain links to other applications and/or websites that are not maintained by the Factory Hotel. We are not responsible for the content of linked applications/sites or any processing of personal data that may be carried out by the owners or operators of these sites.

Review, modification and deletion of personal data

You have the right at any time to, among other things, inspect the personal data stored in the register, request the rectification or erasure of such data and obtain copies thereof. The request must be made electronically or in writing and addressed to the person responsible for the register.
You also have the right to prevent the Factory Hotel from using information about you in its communications. The objection must be made electronically or in writing and addressed to the person responsible for data protection.
